The Northumberland County Boiard of Supervisors unanimously approves the first-ever capital improvement plan for fiscal years 2022 through 2025. According to the Rappahannock Record the board okayed the $5.3 million plan at a specially called meeting on May 19 following a public hearing where no one spoke. Projects for fiscal year 2022 include new roofs for the elementary school and school board office plus the purchase of 4 police cruisers.
