Congressman Rob Wittman announced he is co-sponsoring the reintroduction of the “Chesapeake Bay Science, Education and Ecosystem Enhancement Act’ which reauthorizes the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Chesapeake Bay Office, strengthens fisheries management and expands environmental education programs across the Watershed. Wittman says the bipartisan measure will ensure healthy and sustainable fisheries as well as vibrant commercial and recreational opportunities for so many. The measure failed to make it through Congress last year.
