The suspect in a string of Gloucester County robberies that took place between May 29 and June 2 is in custody. The first occured at a George Washington Memorial Highway convenience store and the most recent was at a Hickory Fork Road location. The suspect identified as Damontae Lamar Diggs was found near that business after a search with K-9 teams. Investigators found Diggs also robbed 2 stores in Suffolk before the Gloucester County holdups.
