The Kilmarnock Garden Club awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Lancaster High School graduate Jordan Abbott. According to the Rappahannock Record Abbott will attend the University of Lynchburg in the fall where she plans to major in communications with an emphasis in convergent journalism. She graduated from the Early College Academy at Rappahannock Community College and has been in the National Honor Society since her sophomore year.
