Northumberland County BOS Passes Budget

Northumberland County’s 2021-2022 budget is a done deal. The Rappahannock Record reports the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the $43 million spending plan which is nearly 2% higher than the current budget. The board appropriated the $19.7 million school budget by category as recommended by the school board. The real estate tax is raised to $0.61 per $100 of assessed value but other tax rates remain the same.
