Richmond County announces how the first half of federal COVID-19 funding will be allocated. According to Northern Neck News about a third of the $876,000 will go to the regional broadband internet project with Dominion Electric and All Points Broadband. $300,000 is going to office renovations while the rest will go to first responders. Officials say they will bring back last year’s “County Bucks” program that offered residents $50 in vouchers to spend at local businesses.
