The Gloucester man who rowed for 24 hours to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association also broke the new world’s record for continuous rowing. According to the Virginian-Pilot John Musser broke the record for meters rowed in 24 hours on a Concept2 rower in the lightweight category for ages 50-59. Musser did the fundraiser in honor of his wife Robin who was diagnosed with younger-onset Alzheimer’s in December 2017 at the age of 52. Musser raised more than $49,000.
