Virginia Redistricting Commission Holds Public Meeting Today

Virginia’s redistricting commission holds its last meeting before the feds release data which is expected to change election district boundaries. Data from the 2020 census will detail population charges which will be the factor in district realignment. The clock will then start with the commission having 45 days to ffinalize General Assembly districts and 60 days to reset congressional districts. The changes then go to the GA for approval.
