Nearly 40 Kilmarnock property owners and businesses in received grats up to $2,500 each to improve the exterior appearance of their building or store front. Economic Development Coordinator Sharon Phillips says façade improvement projects are expected to generate upwards of $200,000 in private investment and approximately $75,000
in grant reimbursement from the Town of Kilmarnock. The grant program began in May and ran through July 31. All work associated with the grant program is required to be completed by December 31.
