Postal Service Extenfing Transit Time For Some Mail

Starting in October some of your mail could take a little longer to arrive. The Postal Service issued a public notice announcing one to two days are being added to the service standard for certain First-Class Mail and Periodicals. Officials say 61% of first class mail will remain at current standards. The changes are part of the Postal Service’s “Delivering for America” strategic plan to achieve service
excellence and financial sustainability.
