Progress is continuing on the new Westmoreland County High School with the construction completion goal of February 2022 remaining unchanged. According to Westmoreland News the building’s roof is completed and classroom construction is moving ahead as are stairwalls along with the kitchen and cafeteria walls. Over $475,000 remains in the school contingency fund which district officials say will likely go for making improvements to the football field so it is competition-ready.
