Chafin Dead Of Covid Complications
Hearts are heavy this morning across the Commonwealth after the death of a state leader. Senator Ben Chafin died on Friday after complications with the coronavirus. The 60-year-old Republican was elected to the House of Delegates in 2013 and moved to the state Senate a year later. COVID-19 has claimed the lives of five-thousand Virginians.
