Kilmarnock Police are warning of a phone scam where someone claiming to be with law enforcement says they have an arrest warrant and it can be taken care of by either making a payment over the phone or by providing personal information. The Department says will never contact citizens by telephone requesting their social security number and date of birth in return for not arresting them.
