Earlier in the month, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 75 held a supply drive at the post in Gloucester. TheGazetteJournal reports that the auxiliary, legion, Legion Riders, and Son of the Legion participated in the drive. The school supplies collected were delivered the last week of August by a few of the ladies of the Auxiliary, including Bethel Registrar Heather Whitson, and members Melanie Hummel, Jennifer Anlauf, Linda Osenton, Julie Coates, Alberta Fortin, and Cheryl Slavnik.
